​Katie Ellis is a dedicated Associate Attorney at Barry, Rome & Scott, specializing in the defense of property insurance claims. Katie is a skilled trial attorney and has over five years of experience in both Federal and State Courts throughout the State of Louisiana. Katie's experience includes both insurance and criminal defense representation. She combines her deep legal knowledge with a passion for advocating for her clients' best interests, which has allowed her to hone her skills in persuasive legal argument and professional presentation, making her a valuable asset to her team and clients alike. Her commitment to delivering thoughtful, results-driven legal representation is evident in her track record of successful case outcomes and satisfied clients.


Outside of the courtroom, Katie enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She has been honored with an invitation to an Adjunct Professor at her law school alma mater, Loyola University New Orleans, College of Law School, where she has been able to share her knowledge and experience with aspiring legal professionals since 2023. This role reflects her commitment to advancing the field of law and contributing to the professional development of future attorneys.
